Michelle’s mission is to help companies become industry leaders in DEI so they can have a profound impact on their employees, businesses and communities.

Michelle is the Founder and CEO of Equity At Work, known for creating innovative solutions for even the most complex DEI challenges.  Senior executives come to Equity At Work for customized strategies, roadmaps, dashboards and partnership operationalizing DEI throughout their businesses. Our clients outperform their peers in revenue and margin growth, return on invested capital, retention and engagement.

Michelle began Equity At Work from a true joy in opening avenues for people of all backgrounds to succeed and thrive. After 25 years working at Accenture, Kurt Salmon, Macy’s Inc. and The Walt Disney Company, and having consulted with many Fortune 500 companies throughout her career, Michelle has seen the amazing ripple effect a people-first approach in business can have. And that is what DEI means to her.

In addition to leading Equity At Work, Michelle is on the Investment Committee of venture capital firm RevTech, on the Advisory Board of AI-tech firm Theatro, a member of Forbes' Business Council and an alumna of Goldman Sachs 10,000 Small Businesses. She has been featured in Forbes, Bloomberg, Entrepreneur and more.

Michelle is a graduate of the University of California at Berkeley, has two children, and enjoys photography, travel, hiking and yoga.
